Site Updates

I have updated this site to Drupal 5.3 including all the module updates. The site was running Drupal 5.1. I have moved all the contrib modules from the root to the sites/default/modules folder to make it easier to do upgrades. I have added a few new CCK modules to play around with.

I have deactivated the Signup module. For now we will use the Meetup site that Lee set up. The Signup module does the same function including emailing of reminders. Once the subscription to Meetup is up for renewal we can consider switching. I added a Link CCK field to the event content type so we could have a link from out calendar off to the Meetup Site.

I'd like to begin work on a DrupalJedi theme. I have done some searching on the web looking for style ideas. There's a lot to choose from. I started with a simple idea for a logo. I found a picture of a hooded boy on iStockPhoto and ran in through Photoshop to create a simple logo. I would like suggestions for a color pallette. I have started with brown, purple and red. If someone has an idea for a design, please add some comments to this posting.
